Terms & Conditions

By creating an account, browsing, or otherwise using Caregiver Express (the "Platform"), operated by Angels Over Us LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Platform.

Caregiver Express connects families ("Careseekers") with independent caregivers ("Caregivers") and provides onboarding, scheduling, payment, and support tools. Houston pilot Caregivers participate as independent contractors, not employees of Angels Over Us LLC. The signed Caregiver Agreement and applicable operating policies govern the relationship.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Caregiver Express performs background checks, certification verification, and identity checks on Caregivers as described in our Vetting Process. However, no screening is perfect; you are responsible for exercising your own judgment, conducting meet & greets, and making your own decisions about whom you engage.

Bookings, rates, and payments are processed through the Platform's integrated payment provider (Stripe). You agree to pay all applicable charges for care you book. Funds are disbursed to Caregivers after a visit is completed and approved, subject to our Payment & Refund Policy.

To protect the integrity of the marketplace and the protections it provides, Careseekers and Caregivers introduced to one another through the Platform agree not to arrange, solicit, or pay for care services outside the Platform for a defined period (typically 12–24 months, as permitted by applicable state law) following their last interaction on the Platform.

Sanctioned direct-hire path: rather than prohibiting direct relationships outright, Caregiver Express offers a legitimate exit ramp. A family may hire a Caregiver directly by paying a one-time placement/conversion fee, as configured for your market. This converts an off-platform arrangement into a sanctioned one and keeps the relationship compliant with these Terms.

You acknowledge this clause at signup and may be asked to re-acknowledge it when booking with a new Caregiver. Acknowledgments are timestamped and retained. Caregivers' terms mirror this provision; violations may result in strikes, suspension, and forfeiture of pending, non-earned benefits. Enforceability and duration vary by jurisdiction.

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by providing false information, harassing other users, circumventing payments, or using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caregiver Express is not liable for the acts or omissions of Caregivers or Careseekers, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the operating entity is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the dispute resolution procedures set out in this section.
