Payment & Refund Policy

After a Caregiver accepts a care booking, the scheduled amount is prepaid securely through Stripe to confirm the visit. The price is calculated from the public customer rate and scheduled duration.

During the Houston pilot, approved time cannot exceed the prepaid duration without separate customer authorization. If approved time is shorter, the unused prepaid amount is returned to the original payment method.

After a visit is completed and approved, the Caregiver is paid the caregiver earnings amount calculated from the accepted caregiver rate. The public customer rate may be different.

Refunds and credits may be issued in accordance with this policy and our Cancellation Policy — for example, for care not delivered or qualifying disputes. Requests are reviewed by our team on a case-by-case basis.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact admin@angelsoverus.com before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly.

Caregivers are responsible for their own income and self-employment tax obligations. Caregivers must provide accurate Form W-9 information, and Form 1099-NEC is provided when required by applicable reporting rules.
